Terms of Use

1. Responsible for the App

Soft Studio Labs (hereinafter "BunnyMood"), with registered office at Zum Berg 19, 67550, Worms, Germany, and email: hello@annakohlbecker.com, is the owner and responsible party for the APP.

2. Object

BunnyMood has been developed to provide users with a private, intuitive interface to track their emotional states and receive insights into their mental well-being (hereinafter the "content").

3. Start and Configuration

Upon the first launch, the user may optionally complete a short onboarding questionnaire about their current emotional state and may optionally provide a display name and age. Any answers provided are stored in the user's profile to personalize the experience and may be updated or removed at any time by deleting the account.

4. Method of Use

The APP features a main interface where users can log a mood entry consisting of:

• a mood level (one of: great, good, meh, bad),
• a date and time,
• an optional activity (selected from the default list or from activities the user creates), and
• an optional free-text note.

Additional features:

• General Settings: Users can modify their email and password, change the app language, and manage subscriptions.
• History & Analytics: Users can view their mood entries over time, including a monthly summary.
• Account Deletion: Users can request deletion of their account at any time. Following deletion, BunnyMood retains a minimal record (account identifier, email, and deletion date) for a limited period for security, fraud-prevention, and legal-compliance purposes, as further described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights over the BunnyMood brand, software, and visual design belong to Soft Studio Labs.

• User Content: "User Content" includes the mood entries you log, custom activities you create, free-text notes you write, and any profile information you choose to provide (such as display name, age, language preference, and onboarding answers). Users represent that they own the rights to any text they enter.
• License: By using the APP, users grant BunnyMood a limited license to host and process this content solely for the purpose of providing the service (e.g., syncing data across devices). We do not sell your personal journal entries to third parties.

6. Sensitive Health and Well-Being Data

BunnyMood collects data about your emotional states, moods, and related notes. We treat this information as sensitive health and well-being data and apply heightened protections in line with Google Play's Health and Fitness data requirements.

• Prohibited uses. BunnyMood will never use your emotional, mood, or well-being data to determine employment eligibility, insurance eligibility, credit decisions, or any similar consequential decision about you. We will not share this data for unauthorized social sharing or any purpose outside of providing the service you have signed up for.
• Health Connect (Android). If you choose to connect BunnyMood to Health Connect, we will request only the minimum data categories necessary for the features you enable, consistent with Android 16's granular permission model. You may revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings.
• High-sensitivity categories. BunnyMood does not currently read or write high-sensitivity Health Connect categories (such as Menstrual Cycle Phases, Alcohol Consumption, or Symptoms). If this ever changes, we will request your explicit, separate consent and update these Terms and our Privacy Policy before doing so.

7. Permissions and Data Minimization

BunnyMood is designed around the principle of collecting only what is needed to deliver the service.

• Photos and media. BunnyMood does not request access to your photo library, camera, or video files. Notes are text-only.
• Contacts. BunnyMood does not request broad read access to your contacts. If a feature ever requires selecting a contact (for example, to share a mood summary), the APP will use the Android system contact picker so that only the specific contact you choose is shared with the APP.
• Location. BunnyMood does not request precise or background location. The APP does not use geofencing or foreground location services.
• Tracking. BunnyMood requests permission to track you across apps and websites (via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework) solely to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. You may decline this prompt or revoke it at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, with no loss of core app functionality.
• Revoking permissions. You may revoke any permission at any time through your Android device settings. Some features may become unavailable as a result.

8. Responsibility and Security

• Disclaimer: BunnyMood is not responsible for data loss due to unauthorized access to the user's physical device. Users are encouraged to use device-level security (FaceID / Passcode / biometrics).
• Service Failures: BunnyMood is not liable for interruptions due to force majeure or third-party network failures.
• Not medical advice: BunnyMood is a self-reflection and tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or psychiatric diagnosis or treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact qualified local services.

9. Compliance with Platform Policies

BunnyMood is developed and maintained in compliance with applicable Google Play Developer Program Policies and Apple App Store Review Guidelines. Where these platform policies impose stricter requirements on data handling, permissions, or user controls than these Terms, the stricter requirement applies.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, including to reflect changes in platform policies or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated within the APP, and the "Last updated" date at the top of this document will be revised. Continued use of the APP after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Applicable Law

• Professional Users: Laws of Germany.
• Individual Consumers: Laws of the user's country of residence. EU residents may also use the Online Dispute Resolution platform.
