Soft Studio Labs (hereinafter BunnyMood) is the Data Controller for personal data processed through the BunnyMood mobile application (hereinafter, the "APP"), available on Google Play (Android) and the Apple App Store (iOS). Registered office: Zum Berg 19, 67550, Worms Germany. Contact: hello@annakohlbecker.com.

This Privacy Policy comprehensively describes all data we access, collect, use, and share. For the terms governing use of the APP, see our Terms of Use.

1. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of data:

Personal Information

  • Name (optional) — collected for app functionality and account management.
  • Email address — collected for app functionality and account management (e.g., sign-in, account recovery).
  • User IDs — collected for app functionality and account management.
  • Gender identity (optional) — collected for personalizing app functionality.

Health Data

BunnyMood collects and processes health-related data, specifically:

  • Mood logs and emotional state data — users select their current mood and emotional state within the app.
  • Activity data related to well-being — users may log activities associated with their mood entries.
  • Journal entries and notes — users may add personal notes related to their emotional state.

This Health Data is collected solely for the purpose of providing the core app functionality — enabling users to track their emotional states, view personal trends, and receive insights into their mental well-being. Health Data is stored securely and is not sold to third parties. Health Data is not used for advertising purposes.

App Activity

  • App interactions — collected to understand how users navigate the app, used for analytics to improve the user experience.
  • Other user-generated content — mood entries, journal notes, and related content created within the app, collected for app functionality.

App Info and Performance

  • Crash logs — automatically collected for analytics and improving app stability.
  • Diagnostics — automatically collected for analytics and performance monitoring.

Device or Other IDs

  • Device identifiers — collected for app functionality and account management (e.g., IP address, OS version).
  • Advertising identifier (IDFA / Android advertising ID) — collected for marketing attribution and campaign measurement; on iOS this is only collected if you grant permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.

On iOS, BunnyMood requests tracking permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before collecting the advertising identifier. You can grant or deny this permission when prompted, or change it anytime in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. If declined, BunnyMood does not collect your IDFA and relies only on non-identifying, aggregated attribution data.

2. Data We Share

The following data may be shared with third-party service providers:

  • User IDs — shared for app functionality and account management.
  • Crash logs — shared for analytics purposes.
  • Diagnostics — shared for analytics purposes.
  • App interactions — shared for analytics purposes.
  • Device or other IDs — shared for app functionality and account management.
  • Advertising identifier and purchase/subscription data — shared with our marketing attribution partner to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.

3. Purposes and Legal Basis

  • App Functionality: Processing of personal information, Health Data (mood logs, emotional states, journal entries), and user-generated content is necessary to provide the core service — mood tracking, trend analysis, and emotional well-being insights (Basis: Contract performance).
  • Account Management: Processing of name, email address, user IDs, and device identifiers is necessary to create and manage user accounts (Basis: Contract performance).
  • Security: To prevent fraud and ensure app stability (Basis: Legitimate interest).
  • Analytics: To improve BunnyMood features based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns including app interactions, crash logs, and diagnostics (Basis: Legitimate interest).
  • Payment Processing: We use third-party service providers (RevenueCat) to manage subscriptions and process purchases. We do not store your credit card information on our servers; this data is handled by the relevant App Store (Basis: Contract performance).
  • Marketing Attribution: We use AppsFlyer to attribute app installs and subscription purchases to the advertising campaigns that drove them. On iOS this relies on your advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you grant permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt (Basis: Consent for identified attribution; Legitimate interest for aggregated, non-identifying attribution).

4. Data Retention

Journal entries, mood data, and Health Data are kept for as long as the account remains active. If the user deletes the APP or requests data deletion, we will purge the data unless a legal obligation requires retention.

5. Data Deletion

Users can request deletion of their account and all associated data by visiting https:. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will delete your personal data, Health Data, and all user-generated content from our servers, unless retention is required by law.

6. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS. Your data is transferred over a secure connection between the app and our servers.

7. International Transfers

By using the APP, users outside the US consent to the transfer of their data to US-based servers. We utilize trusted sub-processors for essential functions:

  • Infrastructure & Database: Supabase
  • Subscription Management & Payments: RevenueCat
  • Marketing Attribution: AppsFlyer
  • Analytics: Mixpanel
  • App Stores: Apple App Store / Google Play Store

8. Exercise of Rights
